Postcards from the Water’s Edge
This coffee table book was initially created as a gift for my family and closest friends, to celebrate the end of my battle against two forms of cancer. It is a collection of my photography (from around the world) and excerpts from the journal I kept while undergoing surgeries and treatment.

As people saw copies of the book, they began to inquire about ordering some for their friends and relatives who have come through (or are going through) similar physical or emotional challenges, and this book that was supposed to be a one-time printing took on a life of its own, finding a home in hospital waiting rooms, cancer support groups, and bedside tables across the continent.

Because it wasn’t intended for wide release, this 55-page, full-color book is fairly costly. The printing cost alone (with no shipping included and certainly no profit!) is just over $60. But I am committed to making this project available to those who need it most. This is why I’ve only listed a suggested price of $60. If you’d like to purchase a copy and can afford to pay for it, please do so. And if you feel led to give a little extra, any additional funds will be put toward covering the copies I virtually give away to needy patients. If you can only pay a portion of the cost, please don’t feel guilty. If you truly need this book or know someone who does, I want you to have it. I’ll cover the rest of the cost as long as I can afford to do so.
