I am just beginning to find time to read your material here--starting with your bio. Now that I have "met" you I find myself compelled and motivated to really get to know as much about you and your life and work as possible--partly because I am drawn to you and your work as a choir director/teacher (that's me for 40 years) and, as I have already mentioned, because of you past involvement with your parents. I hope you don't mind. I don't expect responses from you at all often, but will be grateful if and when any might coming my way. Meanwhile, I'll keep working on this project of getting to know Michelle (love the Beatles song) Phoenix--my new-found friend.

Hi Michelle, In feeling nostalgic for my years in Germany today, I found the wonderful BFA website! We were in the same class for the 1983-84 school year, but the following year my family and I moved to Munich to finish out our missions term. During my exploration of this site I saw your name and the links that brought me here now. I was so impressed and moved.I pray God's continued healing and blessings on your life.

Your book Tangled Ashes was great. It only took me a few days to read it. Will there be a sequel? Your are a fantastic writer. Love the pictures? Taking pictures is my passion also. Great website.
